On behalf of the municipality of Horw, Studio Vulkan is developing a vision for the transformation of the existing town centre.

Studio Vulkan presents: Built Projects is a series of guided visits offering on-site insights into realised landscape architecture projects, focusing on design concepts, implementation, and spatial transformation processes, and is aimed at both professionals and students of landscape architecture.

We were one of five teams contributing to future development scenarios for Northern Lviv within the Lviv North test-planning initiative, where the second workshop provided a focused platform for presenting interim results and advancing collaborative dialogue with local stakeholders and international partners.

The conference “Impact through Collaboration – Added Value for Biodiversity and Landscape”, which took place on 18 March 2026 in Bern and was organised by the Federal Office for the Environment (Bundesamt für Umwelt – BAFU), highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration for biodiversity and landscape through practical case studies; in the thematic session “Urban Space”, Dominik Bueckers also took part in the discussion.

On 26 February 2026, a specialist discussion was held at Maison Shift on the future of the urban space around Zurich Central Station. The white paper “A New Beginning for the Zurich Central Station Urban Space 2050” served as the strategic framework, and keynote presentations and a panel discussion featuring experts in architecture, landscape architecture and urban development – with the participation of Lukas Schweingruber – provided insights into the planning process and future development prospects.
